My housemate, Katrina, finally unpacked her stuff from winter break which included our Xmas gifts. She was somehow able to remember that I needed a rolling pin to roll out the dough for the dessert she likes and decided to finally get me a rolling pin.
I may or may not have spent the past few minutes rolling it on my chest…

My frat sister, Emily, got me a card that she drew, (because she knew that I liked collecting drawings other people make me), and a pillow pet!
Last night, I was trying to come up with a name for my new bee pillow. I ended up going for Liz’s suggestion of Bazinga.
She’s also now the “Godmother” of this pillow pet, which I have no idea what that would entail but sure, go ahead…
I just realized that this was the first year that I didn’t get a coffee mug for Xmas.
This is a good thing. I felt that, whenever my family ever gives me a coffee mug for Xmas, it’s because they don’t know what to give me, especially since the only coffee mugs I do get are from Starbucks.
But…
I guess I just realized that I don’t have a mug yet that I can call my favorite. It’s because I can’t be happy with any run of the mill coffee mug. I feel that it has to say something to me.
I thought about getting that Nikon coffee mug since I saw a post of it when I first signed up for Tumblr, but after looking up “coffee mug” on here just now, over a year later, it’s been like every other post is of that mug. That Nikon mug just lost its unique and awesome status in my eyes.
I’m a hipster that way I suppose.
… Or all of this could just be coffee mug nostalgia—Wait… It’s been over a year since I’ve been on Tumblr?
