Movie Review: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

When people warn you about how intense that movie is, they’re not lying. 

Having not read the book before seeing the movie, I was surprised at how well I was able to recollect everything, especially when a lot of information was presented at once. I guess that really says something about their screenplay.

I would like to note that the characters seem a little too robotic for my taste. Maybe that has to do in part of how the characters acted in the book because it also seems that the actors play their parts very well. 

Rooney Mara (Lisbeth Salander) did a brilliant performance. I’m not at all surprised that she got the Oscar nomination. 

I’d give the movie a 4 out of 5 thumbs up—Whether or not you read the book, see it for Rooney Mara.

These past twelve days have been the greatest days of my life and I am overjoyed that I was able to do this trip. NYC is my city and I hope to make it my permanent home some day! 

I’ll talk about it more later, but right now there is this delicious chocolate flavored, chocolate mousse filled cupcake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles calling my name and I need to have a piece before the blonde eats it all!

I’m tired. I really don’t want to be up this early. But, hopefully, I’m going to finish everything I need to get done today.

Of course, it doesn’t help that the people I’m going to the grocery store with are still asleep.

Thank you, coffee. At least I can rely upon you to understand me…
