It is the year 2009 and DAVID talks with his PROFESSOR about the Earth.
David: Wait, so if the Earth orbits the sun 365.25 days a year, then would that explain why we have summer when it's winter? That, over time, the seasons have changed so that we end up experiencing hot days when it's supposed to be winter and cold days during summer?
Professor: Umm...
David: Is THAT the true reason of why we have global warming?
Professor: (chuckles) No. We have Leap Years.
David: ... Come again?
Professor: Every 4 years, we add a new day on the calendar.
David: ... You're joking with me aren't you?
Professor: Nope. When there's a Leap Year, we have a February 29th.
David: THERE'S A FEBRUARY 29TH!?!
Professor: You must have noticed this change somehow. It's happened at least four times in your lifetime.
David: I KNOW! WHY DON'T I REMEMBER!? HOW CAN I NOT REMEMBER SOMETHING THIS AWESOME!?

It's Been a Long Weekend
And in case you didn’t know, I’m currently in Reno. I’ve been spending time, on and off, mingling and bonding with my frat brothers. Right now, I’m trying to go to sleep in anticipation of driving us back all the way to Santa Cruz tomorrow morning. But, you know… It’s our last night in Reno… I’ll post at you tomorrow.
